Favorite Color and Why?

    - This is my favorite color as it provides a warm and calming feeling; it serves as a reminder of enjoyable and exciting moments. I spend a lot of time scuba diving, fishing, and on the water, therefore, "light blue" brings forth those good memories. In addition to, "light blue" also reminds me of the sky, which I became fond of when I first started working towards my pilots license.

This is a picture of a local grocery store. More specifically it is the center section of the store with all the boxes and bottles. This picture was taken in the past 10 years. When we take a look a this image, we are immediately overcome by the feeling of un-easiness. This makes us feel un-easy because of the amount of colors and products in the picture. On the right hand side of the picture you can see two shoppers. Before the picture was taken they were aimlessly wondering around the store looking for products to purchase. When this picture was taken the two shoppers are stationary, overwhelmed by the amount of products on the shelf. They are clearly looking for something, yet the craziness of the shelves are too overwhelming for them. After the picture was taken, they continued through out the store looking for products. This photograph attempts to convey a societies passion with over consumption, choice, and variety. This is evident by the many different colors, shapes and items available, yet when you look at it all together; you notice they are all one giant picture. This picture overall emphasizes the issue we have as shoppers, to many choices, and to many colors all vying for our attention.
